A US holiday event planner needed a plaza centerpiece with real impact — a large light-tree that could move beyond the usual static glow and play dazzling, changing effects, with room to carry seasonal branding too.
We delivered 3,600 m of full-color addressable pixel string, mapped over the cone of the tree and the cluster of smaller trees around it as one programmable surface. Control runs two ways — Art-Net live from a PC for show programming, and SD-card offline playback at the fixture — so the venue can switch between animations and branded content freely, without a computer on site every night.
The finished tree plays everything from snowfall and color chases to a lit-out brand mark, doubling the holiday display as an advertising surface. It's the differentiated, ever-changing centerpiece the brief asked for.
