Choose the right led pixel bar configuration
Use these decisions to narrow the model range before controller, power, cabling, and mounting quantities are engineered.
Control path
SPI input or DMX512 decoder
Match the bar input to the controller output. Art-Net or sACN systems still need a compatible node or decoder before pixel data reaches an SPI bar.
Pixel resolution
16–60 pixels per metre
Use a finer pixel pitch for close-view video effects; coarser spacing is usually sufficient for stage scenery and facades viewed from a distance.
Housing and ingress
Aluminium profiles; model-specific IP ratings
Choose the exact model by venue exposure and mounting method. Confirm the assembled bar, connectors, and end caps—not only the LED board—meet the required IP class.
Voltage and feed layout
DC12V and model-specific DC24V options
Confirm bar length, wattage, cable gauge, and injection points as one system before fixing controller and power-supply quantities.

Questions to resolve before ordering
Can LED pixel bars connect directly to Art-Net or sACN?
Most pixel bars receive SPI-style pixel data or DMX512, not Ethernet directly. An Art-Net or sACN project therefore needs a compatible controller or decoder between the network and the bar. Confirm the selected model and controller together.
Which pixel density should I specify?
Choose from the viewing distance and content. Close-view video and text need finer pixel spacing; stage scenery and facades viewed from farther away can often use fewer pixels per metre. Send the viewing distance and mapping resolution with the RFQ.
What information is needed for a pixel-bar quotation?
Provide bar quantity or total length, required length per bar, pixel density, RGB or RGBW, control system, voltage, IP class, mounting method, cable distances, project country, and delivery deadline.
