Pre-power-on pixel LED commissioning checklist
Use this structured gate to expose missing wiring, power, data, environmental, and first-test checks before a controlled commissioning review.
Work through each installation gate
Mark an item only after it has been checked against the actual installation, current drawings, and selected component datasheets.

Critical checks still open
- • Current wiring and power-injection diagram is available
- • Product voltage, pixel IC, and control protocol are confirmed
- • Cable, connector, supply, and protection ratings were reviewed
- • Power-supply input selection and DC output voltage are verified
- • Polarity is checked at every feed and injection point
- • Required common ground or signal return continuity is confirmed
- • Protection, conductor capacity, and power headroom were reviewed
- • Pixel data direction and connector pinout are checked
- • Controller firmware and output mode match the pixel IC
- • No exposed conductors, loose strands, or conductive debris remain
- • A current-limited or section-by-section first-power plan is prepared

This screening checklist does not certify electrical safety or replace a qualified person, applicable codes, manufacturer instructions, or site-specific commissioning.
A completed list is a review trigger, not a safety certificate
Pixel systems combine low-voltage power distribution, sensitive data paths, many field connections, and software addressing. The checklist makes those interfaces visible so the installer, controls team, and supplier can review the same facts before the first test.
Use the actual wiring diagram, product datasheets, controller limits, measurements, and applicable site requirements. For early design checks, also use the LED voltage-drop calculator and controller-capacity calculator.
